In my desire to try to save money I have finally sucked it up and bought a clipper set to cut the boys' hair. We were spending way to much to keep them looking nice. The trouble is... I have no idea how to do this, so fortunately for me they will need cuts in another 6 weeks giving me more practice on cutting and clipping hair.

There was no blood, and they were happy.... mostly. I only had to threaten 8 times to shave them bald if they didn't hold still, and the husband says that as soon and I can learn how to blend he'll let me cut his hair.
Nice work on the hair! I had to learn how do cut Aaron's when we were in the Caribbean. People there didn't know how to cut white guys hair. So once a month we line up the boys and Aaron and go to town. It's probably my least favorite chore to do, but it saves a grundle and Aaron doesn't have to figure out how to get it done with his crazy hours.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to learn to cut my boys' hair since my sister and my mom went to hair school. My in-laws think I'm nuts but if I don't have to do it myself, I'm totally not going to! We just take a visit to Aunt Janika's house. :o) Good job you!!
