It was a warm day, and what a better way is there to cool off than to jump on the trampoline with a sprinkler underneath. As the days are getting warmer and more humid {read....oppressing} we are trying to find ways of keeping cool. The air conditioning is nice, and we spend many hours inside. But the fact that our house is small I try to find ways for us to be outside..... the built up energy needs to be released!!!
It's fun to watch them bounce around in all the water. And the boys are so funny. They will jump for a awhile and then go climb the tree, and then come back to the tramp.
These days of the boys being young are passing so fast, and I just want to remember them all.

At the Lighthouse with Mr. X
It was a beautiful morning/afternoon and with a great friend in town we went to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Now this Mr. X has been a great friend of the husband and the boys just love a visit from him.
The boys love seeing the lighthouses so we have decided that we are going to visit many of them while we are here in Florida. Now to tell the truth, I'm not a big fan of this state, but there are somethings that I'm still in awe of. And the lighthouses are one of them. I have so much respect for the early lighthouse keepers and the hard work that they preformed during the day and especially at night to keep the incoming boats safe. The view from the bottom is impressive!!! But the view from the top is just breath taking! Miles and miles of blue ocean is just amazing. I believe I have a small love affair with lighthouses and am so excited to go see them.{Mr. X's identity will remain confidential due to his job, and to the fact that he thinks it's more 'James Bond-ish' }

See, I really am pregnant.
I know I haven't posted any pregnancy pictures, but see I really am with child. And just in case you didn't know it is a boy child. We are so excited to add our fourth boy to the family.
I have 86 days left!!! Less than 100 days. I'm getting close, and feeling really good. The morning sickness was wretched and almost unbearable. But now all is good.... other than the fact that I can't bend over, and any shoes {other than flip-flops} are put away for the moment. {the ones that I'm waring in the picture... the husband had to buckle for me... I can't reach}

This picture was so cute. My once cute inny belly button has turned to a huge outty!! and Tim likes to press it. I'm not sure if he is expecting something to happen when he presses it. Noting yet, but only time will tell...
So after 27 weeks {and 5 days... but who is counting} here are the pictures. {I was going to tidy up, or go outside, but the husband just started clicking away.}

Splashing Away
The boys and I went to a little splash park on the coast. It was a beautiful day and a great day to be out and about.
We got our school stuff done early and suited up for fun.
We got our school stuff done early and suited up for fun.
We played in the water a bit, then to the park. After we played in all the sand we needed to wash off. Tommy, as you can see, went blind in the water. Don't' worry a quick wipe of the eyes and whola sight was restored!
Tim had such a great time running around, and trying the catch the water... in his mouth... {gross}
James took some time to get in to it but once he did he couldn't be stopped.
We had a great treat while we were there! This is one of the treats of living in Florida. Do you want to see what they are looking at??
Do you see that?? That is the last launch that Atlantis is going to take. It launched form Cape Canaveral and we were able to see it from Daytona. It was really cool to watch it take off.
So we got a good splashing and a show. What a great day.

Poor Captain....
We seem to have a problem... We have a dog... our cute, fluffy, very stinky, and pretty harmless. 55 pound Australian Shepherd, Captain. We have a big back yard that is populated by squirrels, bugs, and amongst other things... birds. It's fun to watch all the different kinds that come to hang out.
Well... washing dishes and looked out the window to see Captain running past... then again and again. It was kinda odd so I moved to get a better look. I see Captain run by again and then I see why... there is a bird that is chasing him! Yes... a bird chasing our dog!! I looked around to see if I could see a nest anywhere. I couldn't find anything so I thought it was just a bird trying to be macho....
Until I took Captain for a walk one morning... on our way back to the house we were attacked by the bird again!! As he was coming for the dog he took a swoop by me! {the neighbor got a great laugh from watching me jump out of the way of this bird} The husband didn't believe me, until he went out and saw the bird come after the dog.
Captain won't go out the front door unless someone comes with him.... The sad thing is, is that this isn't the first time he has been attacked by birds. When we were in North Carolina, there was a bird that would swoop down and peck at him when ever he went out. {poor dog}

I'm not sure what it is but this bird has it out for Captain.... {and all the dog does is run away... what ever works I guess.}

TEN YEARS!!!
Did you hear the news??? The husband and I have been married for 10 years!!! 10 whole years!! I can't believe it. Sometimes it feels like forever and other times it feels like just yesterday we were married. I love this man so much and he makes me happy every day. We have been on such a wild ride together and it's been the best ride of my life.
Just over ten years ago we met on the interent.... a fancy little site called Yahoo Personals. He placed and ad, and I answered it. That was the beginning of it all. We have been to many places and have 3 almost 4 boys that are tagging along now in our life. The husband is a wonderful husband but is also a wonderful father. Our boys are so lucky to have him in their lives.
Ten years ago we were poor, the husband was in school and I was working. Now... the husband is in school... {after military service and job change}and we are poor, and I stay home with our wonderful crazies. I wouldn't trade it for the world! Eventually I would like to have a "white picket fence" but for now I'm happy with the rental we have and the knowledge that we will once again pick up our home and move.
Ten years ago, we were afraid to have kids. We both come from divorced families and we were so worried about bring a child into this world with the statistics stacked against us. Now with our band of merry men following behind it's been so fun. And even with the diapers, timeouts, the scrapes, the smiles,the tears, and the laughter, it's been more than what we've bargained for but worth every penny! This is what has made these ten years fly by.
Ten years ago we were really cool and had a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was fun and big, and it took us everywhere. {Including 3 different states.} But as time went on it needed to be traded for something that would fit our growing family and now we have a mini van. The epitome of family life. {But I do have to say that every now and then I have seen the husband get a second look from some random woman in a parking lot as he is getting out.... he's even hansom getting out of a mini-van}
Ten years ago I married my best friend. He is there to encourage me and help me and lift me when I need it. He is the one I whisper to at night, and giggle with at dinner in a restaurant. He has taught me that I am a strong woman and that I can do anything I put my mind to. Because of the two deployments he was on, I know what life is like with out him. I know how to be independent and raise a family. And I know that there is nobody else that I want to stand beside me.
Ten years ago we took a leap of faith and were sealed for "Time and All Eternity." And after the ups- and downs that come with marriage. The highs and lows that come with life. The happy and sad that come with children. It all has been worth it!!! I would do it again!!!
I look forward to forever with you Sweetheart!!!!
{just in case you can't read his shirt, it says 'My Wife Rocks'}

Tommy and the Catapillar
There is something to be said about just letting kids observe what they see. {in case you can't see it Tommy is looking at caterpillar on the table} I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Beach Time
I do have to say that the nice thing about living so close to the beach is that we can go spur-of-the-moment. It's nice to just pick up and go.
We finally bought some buckets so the boys could build sand castles. Tommy was so funny!!! I told him he needed some wetter sand to make a sand castle, so he rand 70 yards down to the water with his shovel. Go a shovel full of dirt and ran all the way back. He did this 4 time before deciding that he wanted to play in the water.

Tim on the other hand decided to take his bucket down to the water's edge. But he wanted to build his castle up buy me, so he brought his FULL bucket back up by me.
Here are my 3 ducks in a row. One thing that I really like about taking pictures at the beach is that the colors are great and the pictures turn out really good!
I love this picture of Tim. It's like he has a secret that he's not going to tell.
James is like a fish in the water. He loves to play and roll around in the water with out caring who is watching. I love that he can play and have a good time like that.
Tommy was having a great time "discovering things about the sea"
Besides the fact that Tim put his shorts on backwards.... I think bum crack on a 3 year old is still really cute.... but maybe it's because I've just become so use to seeing it.
I was able to catch an intimate moment between brothers. Tommy is a bit apprehensive about the water. I watch James take Tommy by the hands and lead him out into the water. Then holding hands they ran back and forth into the waves. I loved watching James take care of his brother and make sure they felt safe. James is growing into a great big brother. He is becoming so helpful around the house,and not just helping me, but helping and taking care of his brothers. He tries really hard to make sure Tommy and Tim are doing the right thing and helping them when they need it. He will sit down with Tim and help him with his shoes, he will help Tommy get things down that he can't reach. I am so proud of him and happy that he is the big brother.
Kicking the Dinosaur
The boys are so funny... They are taking such a liking to little Benjamin. So every couple of days Tommy will come and put this little dinosaur on my belly and want to watch Benjamin kick it off. So far all the little one has done is jiggle it. He has yet to actually kick it off, but the boys are waiting in anticipation.
James has started drawing pictures with our whole family in them being careful to start with Benjamin and to mark him as a brother.
I'm glad that the boys are happy about their upcoming brother. And for them I hope that as Benjamin grows that he is able to kick the dinosaur off... that would just delight the boys.
