Merging.... or not.

Some know that I have another blog that currently is just hanging out…. Socks and Shoes NOT Required. Kind of geared more towards homeschooling, prepping and parenting, this blog was meant to be more of the family blog that people who are far away can read and see the kids grow. I have stepped back from both for a while. I do love to write I but feel like I can’t be totally honest in all of my writings for fear of hurting people that I love, so I have been writing privately to hash out all of my thoughts and feelings.

I’m not sure yet where this blog will go… if I will continue to make it just of the family {which I totally can because my family rocks} to merge my other more “professional” blog ie… web hosted, with it, do I add all the dirty stuff, or keep that separate. AND.... Blogger is WAY easier to manage for the non-techy people like me. Seriously.... I would be up hours on end watching YouTube and reading tutorials just to end up in tears because I don't understand computer speak.

I’m just not sure yet what I’m going to do as I come back into my writing. I do know that I want a place to write about the kids, something that I can print off and give to them so they have something while they were growing up. Managing two or more blogs is just too hard for me right now, so I’m just still thinking about how I want to go forward.

Under Construction

We are finally in Utah. We are not totally homeless, thanks to my parents and an empty basement apartment.

I am making some changes... not big ones... around here and I'm going to be posting a ton of stuff soon.

I think most of my posts are a good read... if I do say so myself.... but these ones are fun and you can see how my cute bunch of boys are and how they have grown.

I'll be back to regular posting soon and I'll get you all caught up on our life.

FaceBook stole my soul....

I have been wanting to blog for a while now but feel like I am really grasping at nothing as far as content goes. After some thought I realize that I Facebook everything... well... pretty much everything. And because I have readers that follow me on facebook and on my blog I feel like I am posting the same thing twice.

I have been all over the interent looking for ways to over come my "writer's block" or "blog cramp" or what ever you want to call it and I'm just stumped. I love blogging about my kids, I mean I have great kids, and they are all very handsome! {Tim won't let me call him cute any more...} But I want more... from myself mostly. And I don't necessarily want to be one of those "mommy bloggers" that post all the time about her perfect life.

And although I love them I don't want people to come here to read just because I'm having a give away... although that might be a good idea. Maybe doing scheduled posts on certain days?

I would like to post more about myself and my thoughts, but I'm afraid that my mouth and the way I can not tactfully write a sentence will hurt people, so I will keep most of my mean thoughts to myself. I do have some things that I am trying to get ready but I just don't know. Will you still like me if I post stuff that you disagree with?

So I'm asking you... anyone who is still out there... What do you want to know about? Anything really... I'll be totally open and as honest as I can be. If you don't want to know anything could you give me some topics to write on?

I'm going to lay off of Facebook for a while, and try to focus more here. I love my blog and my readers and this is where I want to be. I just need some help.

A letter to you

Dear Blog....
I know you have started to feel lonely and neglected, and I am truly sorry for that. I know that excuses are like butts.... however let me tell you why I have been gone.

One simple word.... are you ready for it???

PUKE!

It has been everywhere! In fact if we are doing a repeat of the last two nights Tommy is due to puke on his sheets in T minus 27 minutes. {I'm really hoping that I don't have to wash sheets again}

If that wasn't enough Benji has had diarrhea and James... well... it was both ends for a day. Oooo - Oooo even the dog felt left out and puked on the floor.

You really don't want to know the details.

I am working really hard to get everyone better and scour the house for the arrival of my best friend. She is coming in from Utah to see her parent who are in Orlando.... and well... being the best friend I too have dibbs on her.

So I have been a bit busy. I still love you dear blog. You are thought of all the time and I have some great posts in mind. I just need to not be worrying about puke.

Missing my audience

Once upon a time people use to love me.

They use to come and visit and stay awhile.

Even comment... more times than not.

Then I got pregnant, and I was to sick to post a whole lot.

And people forgot about me. They left me! I am so sorry.... please come back!

I am working on posting more and more regularly.

You see, I homeschool the boys and so I use my nights to prep for the next day. If I get a chance I will post, some times I do... some times I don't.

Please understand I still love you all and hope you will come back to visit. I will work to make your stay a good one.

Come back... I miss you!!
