Summer Fun

 Summer wouldn't be the same without a ton of pictures, so get ready for the over load. Some things that we did I want to highlight but here are some of the day to day things we did....

First of all sleeping....we like to sleep around here

There was that day, that was the last day of school so we waited....and waited for the brothers to get home
And then they did and we had a water fight.
There were about 150 balloons, but those went really fast so I'm glad that I bought these water wands so the fun could continue
 {ha... he didn't even know it was coming}

Of course there were a few tears... but nothing that 100 OtterPops couldn't fix... yup, we ate the whole box!

And then there was the nasty sunburn that came as a result of the day out in the sun. This sun burn was so gross!! He had blisters on both shoulders, they would pop and then fill again. It was like this for three days. They were on both shoulders and they got bigger before they went away. It really was so sad {and gross... did I mention that??}

There was trampoline sleeping ....
Enchilada Sauce making/canning
 And Benji finding some handcuffs but not the key....
 We had a slip'n'slide
 And Tommy had 'Jazz Hands'
 Swim who was always eating and never had clothes on.
Oh.... and this park!!!
James at the top

Tim on the monkey bars
And Swim {who does have clothes on...} who lost his shoe
 Benji wandering.... and getting stuck on the pyrmid

Tommy spinning
Tim and his best bud
And one little girl t add to the mix

There were rainy days in bathing suits

 {or shorts}

 And the bluest eyes you will ever see!

There were left over sparklers that needed to be lit.

 And dinosaur slippers that were worn most days.
This summer was fun and there are a few more highlights to come. We tried to pack in a bunch of stuff in the short time that we had.

Splashin' Away on a HOT day!

It was a hot day in June when we decided to go to the zoo. Holy Moley it was HOT!! After we saw the animals that were on the must see list we went to the little splash area that they had.

There area TON of pictures and lucky for you... I figured out how to make them BIG. So enjoy our splash time.
Here is Tommy showing off his talent. The husband, myself and James can all curl our tongues and Tommy wanted to do it too. He practiced and practiced and finally can do it. {he is very proud}

Another cute picture of Tommy, if you can't tell he is quite photogenic, and L.O.V.E.S. the camera!

A great picture of James. It's pictures like this that I catch a glimps of the young man he will become. This isn't a picture of a little boy, but of a young man that is growing into himself.

Tommy and Tim.

One of these things is not like the other.... poor loan white boy.

I never know with this one... after this picture was taken he was off sticking his face in the spaying water and then wondering why he had water in his nose.

I'll leave you with this picture of Tommy... doesn't this just make you want to smile and wink back at him?!!

Splashing Away

The boys and I went to a little splash park on the coast. It was a beautiful day and a great day to be out and about.

We got our school stuff done early and suited up for fun.
We played in the water a bit, then to the park. After we played in all the sand we needed to wash off. Tommy, as you can see, went blind in the water. Don't' worry a quick wipe of the eyes and whola sight was restored!

Tim had such a great time running around, and trying the catch the water... in his mouth... {gross}

James took some time to get in to it but once he did he couldn't be stopped.

We had a great treat while we were there! This is one of the treats of living in Florida. Do you want to see what they are looking at??
Do you see that?? That is the last launch that Atlantis is going to take. It launched form Cape Canaveral and we were able to see it from Daytona. It was really cool to watch it take off.
So we got a good splashing and a show. What a great day.

one quick click will help me get into the top 25!!
