To count down the time we will be here and the time the husband has in school I decided to make a paper chain. Fabulous idea I know.... so each week he will take off one chain. It's a lot now but it will slowly it will become less and less. He just took one off for finishing the first week of school, so now there is 3 1/4 years left.... minus one week.

Yay for having 1 week under his belt! When we lived in Grenada we always made a chain for the last 30days of the semester. Then we knew we would be going back to Utah.
What a cool idea! It will be great to have a visual reminder of how far he is getting and how far he has come.
Cute!!! Cayde is going to make a chain for my dad for christmas for how many days we will be here. Chains are great!
That is awesome, and Stuart would kill me if I did that! I also wanted to tell you that if you are wanting to get your love of running back, my suggestion is to find a race you want to run, sign up, and you are more likely to train for it once you have paid for it. One race was all it took for me to fing my running mojo again! Just my own little tip!
Paper chain! Cute!
PS Thank you for stopping by on my special day!
It's a great idea! I did something similar everytime Dan deployed, but I did notecards and I did 1 for each day, which really wouldn't be practical for 3 years of school. The best was when I would forget to remove 1 (or 2 of 3) and could do a bunch at a time.
Congrats to him! What a creativ idea! Thx for stopping by my blog and saying hi
