Monday night it was really cold and windy, I figured it would be the same the next morning when I woke up. Well imagine my surprise when I woke up to 2 inches of SNOW! Yes you heard me right... Here in southern Arizona {really, like 10 miles from Mexico} we had snow.
Tommy and Tim were up and just happy to look at it from the window. I woke James up and showed him, and he was wide eyed after that. He got dressed so fast and was out the door. He was the only one who truly appreciated the snow. He tried having a snow ball fight with his brothers, but they were not into it. So I went out there and threw it around with him. Yup... as cold as I remember it.
The boys still had school so after a bowl of oatmeal and dry pants they were ready for school. By noon it was pretty much all melted.
It was nice to get a touch of snow. Just enough to play in for a bit and then be nice and sunny again in the afternoon. {today I was back in short sleeves}

Crazy!! I think it's so sweet that you went out and played with him so he had a friend. You are such a fun mom.
Are you kidding me?! That's crazy. Glad James had fun. I'm surprized that you have warm enough coats and gloves. Nice work.
Wow look at all tht snow!
Oklooks like you are in Alaska not AZ. LOL
Heh! Heh! Heh! (wicked laughter)
You can run but you can't hide. Utah must be in your blood. Heh! Heh!
How fun! We took the kids to see some snow (there wasn't very much) at Christmas time. We played for about 5 minutes and they were done. It was just too cold!
Look how fascinated he looks! Although I will say that Captain looks a bit confused in that picture. I'm glad that you don't like the snow either. I keep telling the husband that he MUST get a job in Arizona so I don't have winters.
