I posted some stamps to sell on Craig's list. {which I still have if anyone is interested} and instead of getting people who want to buy them I've been getting scammers that are replying to me. After sending them hate mail back and wishing them well to hell.... I've decided that I was going to make it funny instead.
Here is the email that I received and this was one of many {this is exactly how it looked in my in box}

PS... by opening this email you have now installed a worm on your computer that will log you key strokes and visited internet sites {NO porn please} to include your usernames and passwords and be sent directly to me. Who's Scammed Now!!!
Oh yeah... don't try to run any anti-virus softwear to remove the worm, it embeds itself into your computer and becomes part of the BIOS
In case any of you are wondering... I have absolutely no idea how to install any worms {deep breath out now} the husband was helping me write this.
I have been spending time on Facebook, but I think I have found a new past time.... posting stuff on Craig's List hoping to lure scammers in and then mess with their heads.

I have some stuff to post on Craigslist, so this idea might come in handy! Hahahaha!
Hahahaha! If it's okay I'm going to steal this and use it the next time I get email from a scammer.
That's all we got after we posted our house for sale on Craigslist. Boo Scammers...Hooray for Leah and saving the day! :)
Wow, I guess I have never experienced scammers online. Probably because my husband is so computer handy and deals with it before i know. Way to go! I'd love to know what they were thinking when they read about the worm!
lol...i love it!! i can't wait for them to read it!!
That's really funny! I hate scammers too!
HA!!! This is hilarious! I want to copy it and use it every time I get Craigs list spam! LOL!
I am standing right now applauding you. bravo!
LOL loved it I should try it as well one day hehehe
lol!!! OMGosh! I love reading your blog, I can always count on you to make me laugh! Thanks chicka!
Leah, have I commented before? If not, sorry. This is so funny! Oh I almost wish I had any craigslist connections so I could use this idea. Aren't scammers annoying? My current favorite (if I can use the word at all) is the one that begins, "Congratulations, Mr XYZ - as you have the same last name as our benefactor Mr ABC, you are eligible to win US $1 million..." On the home front, we have three daughters and our youngest reminds me of your Tim. Sigh. I commiserate.
That was beautiful! Props to your husband for including the BIOS part, that made me really laugh!
