So every year that we put up the Christmas tree we have some solid traditions. It includes the husband yelling at the tree for not being put up right. And getting mad that the lights are all screwy. Then there are at least two of the ornaments that are broken in the process. There is swearing that there is the Christmas music is to much. And... this year there was also swearing that it was to hot, and "could some one please turn up the AC?!!"
It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!

Maybe if Steve wasn't wearing LONG sleeves the AC wouldn't have to be turned down so much ;)
Ohmygosh! Thank you for posting this!!! I thought we were the only ones, lol! I always think, year after year, that THIS YEAR will be the year that everything goes smoothly and that it will be fun family time. NOT!!!!!!
If we're still on speaking terms the rest of the day, I say we're ahead.
Merry Christmas!
No one ever said Christmas was easy. It has it's headaches and pains, but sure is worth it in the end! Right????
Yeah, we've all got to take a lesson from Clark Griswold, and keep our tempers in check this year...I wanted to thank you soooooooo much for stopping by on my Special SITS Day. It’s taken me a while to get back, but I hope to see you around the blogosphere again soon!

I don't know who you are but I saw your comment on Brian and Emily's blog. I too, have 3 boys and am expecting our 4th boy in May. I love your blog title!
Go BOYS!
Sounds like setting up the christmas tree in my house, lol. It must be the true holiday spirit. but it looks like the boys had everything under control.
Happy holidays
<3
Oh and CONGRATS on your SITS day!!
It's important to keep your family traditions ;)
NONE of our lights worked this year - I can relate! ;)
Oh gosh! I'm glad to hear I am not the only one that deals with this putting up the Christmas tree. It's always such an ordeal!

I guess in my older years I have discovered a way to keep all the yelling and hollaring at a total minimum or almost nill...Chaz and I decorate the tree while daddy is at work...LOL!!! It has become our mom/son tradition and we have a blast.
OMGOSH...someone else that knows all about a/c at the holidays. We have been lucky here so far..it has actually been a bit chilly..YEAH!!! But HEY..I'm in Alabama so I better not say that to loud or tomorrow I'll be turning on the a/c.
Hugs,
Regi
We never bought a straight tree growing up. No, not even when we got an artifical tree. One year we had to tie it to the ceiling on a plant hook.
Congrats on your recent SITS day- I'm glad to have discovered your blog!
This made me laugh so hard. Growing up my sister, brother, and I looked forward every year to The Fight. It was Mom and Dad's annual (and only) fight over getting the Christmas tree up straight.
I'm having a wonderful laugh, thank you for sharing. You might be surprised at the great memories you are creating for your family!
