So Tommy was board one day and just didn't know what he wanted to do. I suggested that he watch the rain. So I opened the door and he sat there for about 30 minutes! I love this picture of him just sitting and contemplating something.

Oh I love it! What an adorable picture and a great story to go with it.
It is nice to relax and just watch and enjoy the weather sometimes. That is a really cool picture! We all need to slow down now and then and be still for awhile. I think it's great you are teaching him that.
That is adorable! The rain certainly can become mesmerizing and calming, I'm glad he enjoyed it!
I have to wonder what children reflect upon while meditating and staring at the rain.

I am curious too about what he was thinking about. What was his little mind trying to figure out as he watched the rain fall on the ground.

What an adorable picture. You can almost imagine his thoughts bubbling up like speech ballons in a comic... Sometimes young kids are just incredible!
